Amare Stoudemire loses his brother in tragic car accident.

NEW YORK, Feb. 6 — Hazell Stoudemire, brother of New York Knicks forward Amare Stoudemire, was killed in a car accident Monday in Florida, the team announced.
Amare has traveled to Florida to join his family according to the team and a timetable for his return has not been given.
Hazell, 35 was driving a Cadillac Escalade that collided with the rear of a tractor-trailer rig according to The Florida Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred on U.S. 2 in Lake Wales, Florida and there is no word as to whether or not alcohol or drugs played a part in the accident.
