Anquan Boldin responds to trade to the San Francisco 49ers

Anquan Boldin stood his ground when the Baltimore Ravens asked him to take a pay cut. For his efforts that helped them win a title he was dealt to the San Francisco 49ers for a sixth-round pick.

He took to Twitter on Tuesday to voice his opinion on how the how thing went down as he is currently in Africa performing charity work.

Boldin told ESPN via the league’s website that he was ” shocked” when he first found out.

“You know, for me, it was an initial shock because I had no clue that I was going to be traded,”Boldin said.

“It was shocking at first … but I mean it, for me it is also a good thing,” Boldin said. “When I look at the organization and what they’re about … and as a football team, the talent that they have … I think it’s good, a good place for me to be,” Boldin said.
