ATLANTA, MARCH 8 – The Atlanta Falcons issued a statement this afternoon stating that they have “come to terms” with running back Jason Snelling.

Snelling has quietly become one of the NFL’s premier change-of-pace backs. His versatility has set him up to flourish catching passes out of the backfield, blocking from the fullback position and running between the tackles in a bruising fashion.

Drafted in the seventh round in 2007 out of Virginia, Snelling has also been an inspiration to those who struggle with Epilepsy as he manages and is a spokesman for the disease.

Over the course of his tenure, Snelling has rushed for 1,192 yards (seven touchdowns) and caught 107 catches for 827 yards (five touchdowns).

Terms of the deal were not disclosed as this was posted.
