Darrelle Revis says New York Jets locker room is in “disarray”

NEW YORK-The New York Jets really are a reality show. Darrelle Revis past appearance on the VH-1 dramedy Love & Hip Hop must have prepared him for this.

Today he described the Jets locker room as being in “disarray right now.” Revis was playing a word association game with ESPN was given the term locker room and that was his answer.

There’s two ways to look at this thing that has provided us all with non-stop entertainment since the Sanchez vs. Holmes dust-up at the end of last season.

Either the Jets as a whole have decided to play with peoples’ heads are they really are in every since of the word a hot ghetto mess.

It’s time for Rex Ryan to get these guys together from all sides of the ball and get them to presenting a positive message.

Thing may divided now more than ever with the arrival of young Timmy T, but Ryan can’t just keep turning a blind eye to this thing.

Speaking of Tebow Revis had plenty to say about him as well.

“I think [Tim Tebow] will have a big impact on [Mark Sanchez] in terms of just trying to maybe push him a little bit more.  Not to say that Mark needs to get pushed, but in a way that you know, Tebow is a winning quarterback.  Mark is a winning quarterback too; you got to understand that Mark took us to two AFC championship games.”

I’m not even going to try and read into this what Revis really meant versus what he said.  I do think that what he said speaks volumes for where the Jets are at.

Within the past two weeks Sanchez starting feeling himself after he got his new deal that established him as the “leader” of the team.

In the next stroke, he started calling out teammates who made anonymous quotes about him as “gutless.”

That in itself was stupid. Drew Stanton then got paid $500,000 to do nothing for a week as Tebow came in and well shook the whole thing all the way up.

So now you have Tebow guys and Sanchez guys and that line is being divided all across the team.  You also have guys that haven’t made up their mind yet.

So Revis used the perfect term to describe what is going on in Ryan’s World. The problem is that Tebow will as politely as possible refuse to back down from the opportunity to start and Sanchez has backed himself into a corner certain teammates to a certain degree.

Stay tuned for the next episode of Survivor New York.
