Deltonte West suspended by the Dallas Mavericks

When Delonte West is not making bad rap videos, he’s finding ways to consistently surround himself in negativity.

The rebuilding Dallas Mavericks have suspended West for conduct detrimental to the team after a locker room outburst that must have been for the ages.

The incident took place just after the Mavericks racked up a 123-104 pre-season win over the Houston Rockets.

ESPN is reporting that although that West now has “some fences to mend” after the situation they don’t expect him to be dropped from the team.

Could the situation have stemmed from West’s lack of production in that game?

He netted only 2 points, 2 assists and 1 rebound in just 16 minutes of court time.

West has consistently been on the wrong side of the news and some of that has been contributed to his bout with bi-polar disorder.

His current suspension does not have a timetable but it’s doubtful it will impact him going into the regular season.

Stay tuned…
