Eli Manning is obviously feeling a certain kind of way in regards to all of the hype surrounding the “other” QBs in his city.

According to ESPN, Manning participated at an event at his Alma matter Ole Miss and sarcastically poked fun at the consistent chatter about the New York Jets  Tim Tebow and Mark Sanchez.

“New York Giants just won a championship yet I’m still the third most-talked-about quarterback in my own city.”

Ouch.

The usually mild manned two –time Super Bowl MVP might get a chance to fire off some more zingers when he hosts Saturday Night Live on May 5.

The guy does have a point. When Sanchez was caught sucking down a hot dog in the sidelines of a game a couple of years back, you would have thought he was trading nuclear secrets to the enemy.

Now you have websites offering a million dollar bounty on Tebow’s virginity.

Yet, the guy who is the current reigning world champ is yes third on the depth chart in his own media market. Food for thought.

I seriously doubt if Eli cares. He’s confident in his abilities, as well as, his team. The Jets will never be the #1 NY team. All they have are gimmicks, the Giants have the talent & determination. They are unified in their goal, another Super Bowl win.
