If there was ever a face of college sports in the world of broadcast journalism, Erin Andrews is it. So much so that as she leaves ESPN, there are numerous reports that she is being courted “heavily” by Fox.

According to Sports Illustrated, Andrews is not publicly discussing her next move as her representative Lewis Kay stated “We are not in a position to discuss Erin’s next career move.”

Andrews as confirmed by ESPN is out of Bristol and moving on. After meeting with Fox, you can’t think of a bigger titan in her realm of expertise, than so it is expected that a deal will get done.

ESPN said is a statement that she “did great work for us and we made an aggressive offer to keep her.”We wish her the best on her next chapter.”

As large as ESPN is, you have to wonder why they are suddenly becoming the farm team for other networks.

With Andrews gone, she joins Jim Rome, Brian Kenney, Michelle Beadle and Pat Forde as others who have moved on in recent memory.
