Jason Pierre-Paul sends a warning to Robert Griffin III

New York Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul must feel pretty good about himself after he broke out of his funk and terrorized the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.
He must also feel good about his chances of putting some heat on the Washington Redskins Robert Griffin III after watching teams such as the Atlanta Falcons lay multiple licks on him.
Today he told the New York Daily News that he has some advice for RG3.
“Don’t bring it to my side,” Pierre-Paul said. “Go the other way.”
And even if Griffin runs and/or passes in the other direction, JPP feels that he won’t have much luck there either.
“Trust me, we chase quarterbacks all time,” Pierre-Paul said. “We turn and run to the ball, no matter what. He may get past us and zoom right past us, but trust me we’re right behind him. You’ve got to respect that too. It’s not all about the speed. We’ve got guys, all 11 guys that can run to the ball very quick.
“You’d be surprised. Very surprised.”
They don’t call their defensive the NASCAR defense for nothing.
This is a group that has served up some of the league’s best such as Tom Brady multiple slices of humble pie.
Brady is not exactly a mobile quarterback but Michael Vick is and MV7 can certainly attest to what it feels like to be the rabbit getting chased by this unit.
What won’t work in Griffin III’s favor is that after getting knocked out against the Falcons he came back and played as reckless as ever against the Vikings.
RG3 is a phenomenon but the Giants are not the defense to try and push your luck against.
They are not only fast but they are also mean and they live for moments such as this where they can play the role of hype killers.
If there was ever a game where RG3 should learn how to properly slide this is it.
