After one of the least boisterous franchise tag disputes of all-time, the Kansas City Chiefs just announced that wide receiver Dwayne Bowe has signed his tender and will jump into the mix of team activities.

The one-year deal is valued at $9.5 million.

Whether Bowe would show up has never been the issue it has more been a matter of when he would get there.

Although he skipped all of training camp, neither he or the organization traded serious public blows over the situation.

It is presumed that his 2012 performance will determine the fate of a long-term deal with the team.

QB Matt Cassel now has both Bowe and Jonathan Baldwin at his disposal to complement a host of other Chiefs weapons that if they can remain healthy can shock the world.

Last season Bowe hauled in 81 receptions for 1,159 yards and five TDs.
