DENVER –The Los Angeles Lakers made the adjustments that they needed to make to defeat the Denver Nuggets to take a 3-1 series lead.
The late game heroics were provided by Steve Blake and Ramon Sessions who each drained 3-pointers to lock it up for the Lakers.
Denver kept it close as the score indicates but crucial mistakes during the final moments of the game also played a part in their demise.
Of all the teams living in the elimination hole, Denver has the best chance to climb out of it.
I’m not predicting that they will, but with the Hawks playing worse with each game, the Magic losing it’s Spark and the Knicks barely avoiding the sweep, the Nuggets have proven to be the best challenger to its foe.
Kobe Bryant put up 22 points, eight rebounds and six assists for the Lakers. Andrew Bynum helped out with 19 points and seven rebound for the Lakers.
Danilo Gallinari paced the Nuggets with 20 points.
