DETROIT—Lions cornerback Aaron Berry was arrested for the second time in one month on Saturday. The details are sketchy but according to the Detroit Free Press, sources have stated that Berry pointed a gun at a group of people from inside a car.

He has been charged with three counts of simple assault for allegedly brandishing a firearm, Harrisburg (Pa.) City Police said.

“Obviously, I’m limited in what I can provide because it’s a pending investigation,” a person answering the phone at the Harrisburg Police Dept. and identifying himself as Cpl. Gautsch said; a Cpl. Kyle Gautsch works for the department. “It looks like he was charged with three counts of simple assault and there was a firearm involved. Any other information would have to be disclosed by our press-release guy.”

Gautsch went on to state that Berry is “no longer at our holding facility.”

Berry’s previous legal twist involved DWI amongst other charges after witnesses said his BMW hit two parked cars.

He was about to enter a “diversionary program” that would have purged that incident from his record altogether but obviously Berry didn’t take advantage of the second-chance that he was afforded.

We can bypass the something needs to happen to spiel and just assume that the team will figure out a way to jettison their bad apples.
