Los Angeles Lakers look cool against Denver Nuggets win 103-88

LOS ANGELES – Confidence. The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Denver Nuggets with sincere confidence. The win was seriously one step shy of the thumping that the New York Knicks took from the Miami Heat.
Even still, the way that the Lakers manipulated the floor and broke the Nuggets collective spirit, suddenly it’s hard to envision a world where the Nuggets can avoid being swept.
Kobe Bryant went 11-of-24 from the floor for 31 points. Andrew Bynum tied an NBA record with 10 blocked shots on his way to a triple double.
The record setting feat is cool. The way he pulled it off is even cooler. The first five came off as aggressive basketball. The last five were executed with force and intimidation that scared the Nuggets.
Seriously, go back and look at them and move to say that when Bynum rejected those last five balls that the Nuggets did not as a whole look scared.
If you are in the Denver locker room, what can you do to mentally flush the toilet on this game and fight to prepare yourselves to win this series?
The Nuggets have the talent to do it. But do they have the heart?
