MIAMI-After a lot of back and forth jockeying for position, the Dolphins and their standout linebacker Cameron Wake have finally agreed to a new deal.

The deal is a four-year extension is worth $49 million dollars according to the NFL.  The pact includes guaranteed money that is in the realm of $20 million dollars.

Locking up Wake is one of the smartest moves the Dolphins had yet to make as he has truly been the beacon of that defense.

He’s a tackle machine that gets after whoever has the football.  He’s a must have as the team is rebuilding the other side of the football

At 30, Wake is peaking and the next four years will give the Fins the time they need to find his understudy who will eventually take his place in a few years.
