Miami Dolphins to fine players 10k for using their iPads for unauthorized reasons.

The Miami Dolphins are the latest team to walk into the modern-way-doing-things by handing out their playbooks via iPads.

The move makes a lot of sense and allows for maximum flexibility but there is one little hiccup to this whole thing that is generating noise.

If a player uses the team issued device to visit unapproved websites said offender gets racked for a $10,000 fine according to Fort Lauderdale Sun Sentinel.

The players love the move despite the cloud of potential financial misfortune that hangs over their head.

“It’s convenient,” wide receiver Davone Bess said. “Every day we were getting stacks and stacks of papers with the installs. Now they can just download them on the iPad and it’s there — Bam!”

“I love it,” running back Reggie Bush said. “It makes it so much simpler, and obviously that’s where technology has taken us nowadays. It’s amazing, and I’m glad we got it.”

Somewhere there is a joke to be made about Bush, access to the internet and his ex-Kim Kardashian but we’ll leave that alone.
