NCAA Football: Bullet Picks Week 12

There are a few Senior Days going down with very few games hosting the potential to change life as we know it this year. But here’s how we see the field shaping up. #25 Washington at Colorado

Washington is bowl eligible and looking to sneak their way into a high profile scenario. Who wants to play in the Jed’s Auto Parts Bowl?

#23 Texas Tech at # 24 Oklahoma State

The Red Raiders are thinking revenge after 2011’s 60-point beat down. The Cowboys are reeling at quarterback and TT is angry with Seth Doege pulling the trigger. The Red Raiders are coming in for and leaving with blood on their hands.

#22 Rutgers at Cincinnati

Some teams just know how to beat certain teams. Cincinnati has always had Rutgers number and the Scarlet Knights are trying to go 5-0 in the Big East. Rutgers will break the curse on Saturday.

# 21 Michigan vs. Iowa

This one is simple if Devin Gardner starts at quarterback over Denard Robinson Michigan will win. If Robinson returns, Iowa will take their fourth straight unlikely victory from the Wolverines.

# 20 Louisiana Tech vs. Utah State

Simple and plain, Utah State does not have the defense to win this game.

#17 UCLA vs. #18 USC

Nobody predicted that USC’s fall from grace would be so severe that the Pac-12 South title would seriously be up for grabs. This is a winner take all turf battle and Jim Mora Jr. has UCLA believing in themselves. UCLA takes the title.

#16 Oregon State vs. California

What is Cal capable of? That is the biggest question here. The answer is not very much.

# 14 Nebraska vs. Minnesota

Nebraska is firmly in control of the Legends and will take a blue-collar get-in-and-get-out approach to taking down Minnesota.

# 2 Oregon vs. # 13 Stanford

To get the coveted number one spot, Oregon has to molly whop Stanford to win the Pac 12 North.  I suppose we need to leave room for Stanford to upset but not very much.

# 12 Oklahoma at West Virginia

The Sooners will take it to the biggest disappointment in college football.  WV has a lot of soul searching to do after letting themselves go the way that they did.

# 11 Clemson vs. North Carolina State

NC State got it done at home against Clemson last year. However, in a rivalry that has always been one-sided, they are not due for another upset until 2019.

# 10 Florida State at Maryland

After the Clemson debacle, Maryland braces themselves for another ACC annihilation.

#9 South Carolina vs. Wofford

Wofford can only hope to stop the bleeding and keep it respectable.

# 8 Texas A&M vs. Sam Houston State

Spoiler alert…Sam Houston can score points.  I am not predicting that they can win but this one has oddball game written all over it.

# 7 LSU vs. Ole Miss

Ole Miss is fading fast and LSU is ending the year strong after writing the blueprint for beating Alabama.  Tigers get it done.

#6 Florida vs. Jacksonville State

The theme of the week for the most part is David vs. Goliath. That’s nice and all but the underdog has no chance in this one.

#5 Georgia vs. Georgia Southern

For what they are, Southern has a good program but they simply just cannot run with the Bulldogs. Expect Georgia to score often and early.

#4 Alabama vs. Western Carolina

Western Carolina was not happy to witness Texas A&M’s victory over the Crimson Tide last weekend as they knew they would have to pay the price for it. This will be a nasty, nasty game.

#3 Notre Dame vs. Wake Forest

Now that the rubber has met the road, Notre Dame has avoided a slew of serious mishaps to get into the top three. Wake Forest is a well coached group that can stick another thorn in their side and be the team to twist it deep enough for the win.

#1 Kansas State at Baylor

A year ago Baylor could have taken this overrated Kansas State group. But Baylor’s two shiniest toys are in the NFL now and Kansas State is holding off Oregon in the polls bythismuch.  Baylor’s defense be forewarned they are coming to run it up.
