Players View’s  NCAA Bullet Point Picks return to get straight to the heart of the matter. Let’s look at what’s going down on October 6th.

#25 UCLA at California

Pick: Cal is a hot mess and The Bruins have a rising star in quarterback Brett Hundley.

#24 Northwestern at Penn State

Pick: Penn State gets a bit of good fortune as they beat a ranked group.

#23 Washington vs. #2 Oregon

Pick: Oregon will win but it will be closer than they feel comfortable with. Washington’s defense has become a force.

#22 Rutgers at Connecticut

Pick: Connecticut spoiled things for Rutgers last year and this season will be no different

#21 Nebraska at #12 Ohio State

Pick: Ohio State will win with confidence as Braxton Miller continues to shine.

#20 Mississippi State at Kentucky

Pick: Kentucky would take a knee on this season if they could. They might catch Mississippi State napping after a bye week but it’s sincerely doubtful that they will.

#18 Stanford vs. Arizona

Pick: Stanford was never as good as they were touted to be and Arizona has a chance to finish them off for good. It’s just to bad that they won’t.

#17 Oklahoma at Texas Tech

Texas Tech is ROLLING right now and I like them at home to keep it moving.

#15 Clemson vs. Georgia Tech

Pick: Georgia Tech will continue their losing ways despite a strong day on the ground.

#15 TCU vs. Iowa State

Pick: There’s too much drama that has landed on TCU’s program for them to beat a team that has a history of showing them up.

#14 Oregon State vs. Washington State

Pick:  Oregon State has an offense that is a dynamic as they can get. They will light up WSU.

#13 USC at Utah

Picked: USC to win but the Trojans have issues to address as they struggled against Utah. Regardless of what their hype machine says, that was ugly.

#11 Texas vs. #8 West Virginia

Pick:  West Virginia has kept things interesting and they will outgun the Texas defense.

#10 Florida vs. #4 LSU

Pick: LSU should win but this will be the week that their sloppy ways catch up with them.

#9 Notre Dame at Miami

Pick: With a shot at the Top 25 and the pride of winning a classic rivalry game in their sites, the Hurricanes will come through with the upset.

#7 Kansas State at Kansas

As Clubber Lang predicted for his opponent in Rocky III…pain.

#6 South Carolina vs. #5 Georgia

Pick: It will be an ugly bar fight of a football game, but in the end the Bulldogs will have too much offense for the Gamecocks

#3 FSU at North Carolina State

Pick:  FSU should win against a group that’s playing like they have no heart.

I like your picks with exceptions, Northwestern is playing very well and will win, I ‘m with you on Miami, however I’m a sucker Because I just don’t like ND. Oklahoma, and Rutgers will win with my upset Nebraska beats Ohio State. Nebraska isn’t that good I just think Ohio state is worse, we’ll see. South Carolina beats Georgia. If you come to a Beaver’s game this year we can square up these picks with oregon beer at Clodfelters before gametime. My pleasure,
    Dan
