Injuries seem to be dooming Team USA. Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh and now possibly rookie sensation Anthony Davis are the three recent names to drop out-of-the-mix for the team that is headed to London.
According to ESPN, Davis injured his ankle on Sunday during a workout with the New Orleans Hornets who drafted him first in last week’s NBA draft.
The Hornets are officially calling the injury “day-to-day” but it has been said that he will be laid up for at least two weeks.
If the latter timetable is correct, that could potentially take him out of the London games as that roster will be decided and announced on July 7.
Besides Bosh and Wade, Dwight Howard, Portland’s LaMarcus Aldridge are other superstar name that have pulled out due to injuries.
If Davis does pull out, this will leave a large gap in a front court that is already light on bigs.

If Davis potentially out, Players View predicts this will benefit Rudy Gay or Lamar Odom.
