#2 St. Louis Rams
St. Louis took care of every single major stumbling block that they have had within recent memory. They brought in a coach with a proven pedigree in Jeff Fisher.
They went and gave third-year QB Sam Bradford an anchor in center Scott Wells. They procured edge support defensively in signing OLB Rocky McIntosh.
The three areas that have been screaming for attention for the longest time were addressed in kind.
They have put together a potentially dangerous CB tandem in outspoken veteran Courtland Finnegan and draftee Janoris Jenkins.
RB Steven Jackson gets himself some rotational help in rookie Isaiah Pead and they have added WR options most notably Brain Quick who is the big body they have needed in the red zone for eons.
Former Giant wideout Steve Smith has an opportunity to complete his comeback campaign by doing what he does best and that is standing out as a possession receiver.
These moves in addition to the rookie defensive monster Michael Brockers make the Rams an on-paper NFC wildcard contender.
