HOUSTON – San Francisco 49ers running back Brandon Jacobs injured his left knee during Saturday night’s preseason game against the Houston Texans.

As the video displays, Jacobs was hurt when he was popped by the Texans’ Kareem Jackson at the end of an 8-yard run in the first quarter.

He spent a few minutes on the ground after the hit before he was helped up and eventually placed on the cart to be taken to the locker room for X-rays.

Those tests came back negative and Jacobs is set to undergo an MRI at some point today per ESPN.
